A naked Colorado man was arrested in the Edgewater neighborhood on Monday after assaulting homeowners, according to authorities.
On September 4, Edgewater Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Gray Street due to reports of an active burglar. Upon arrival, Stefan Heil, 33, was arrested and taken into custody after he was tased in the alleyway.
According to the police, the defendant was alleged to have gained forceful entry into two separate homes and physically assaulted the homeowners while unclothed. Heil was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, assault, criminal mischief, harassment, resisting arrest, obstruction of a peace officer, and public indecency.
Due to the nature of the arrest, Heil was transported to the hospital for an immediate psychological evaluation. Investigators suspected the defendant displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance, reported Denver 7.
Heil was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
